All licenses are lifetime: a one-time payment, no subscriptions, no limits on the number of bots, channels or scenarios. Licensing works offline, and your key is truly lifetime. The key is activated in the license dialog or passed with the AGENT_LICENSE variable at startup — the same variable Xedant Agent reads. No ready license ships in the image: a fresh container starts without one, the key needs to be activated yourself. Every license includes 12 months of free updates, then (optionally) a 50% discount on the next 12 months of updates from the original purchase price.
The important advantage: the license is truly needed only for sending messages to the chat with the AI agent. Bots, the flow studio, the emulator, testing and debugging, the knowledge base, operators, the website chat room, the website widget, broadcasts and analytics work without it — the paid license adds the AI conversation, it does not unlock withheld features.
Free trial period
To evaluate the product calmly before buying, a free trial key is issued for 30 days. It is a separate license type (Trial) — it gives every capability, including the chat with the AI agent. The footer of the main screen shows the state: “Trial, N days remaining”, and when the term ends the application reminds you to update the license. No ready trial key ships in the image: a fresh container starts without a license, and without it everything works except the chat with the agent. The trial key is issued on request — write to us on Telegram and tell us your name and email.
Personal license — $197
Every Chatbot Agent feature with no limits for individuals: unlimited installations on any of your computers and servers.
Company license — $497
Every Chatbot Agent feature with no limits for everyone in a company or team, external contractors included.
Service license — $970
Unlimited instances of Chatbot Agent under your domain + the full source code with the right to change it any way you like, update the UI or branding for your company or domain, and integrate it closely with your infrastructure. Any visitor of your domain may use it as part of your services.
Free licenses
In some cases we are happy to gift a free license:
- if you found a bug or a security vulnerability in any of our products (we honestly have no budget for a paid bug bounty, unfortunately);
- if you suggested a sound idea for improving our products (no coding needed — a useful idea is enough; you get a license if we add it to the roadmap);
- if you are an active contributor to open-source projects (we love open-source — we just have no time to maintain our own products as open-source);
- if you run a popular blog, Telegram channel or YouTube channel about programming, AI, chatbots, marketing, business or IT in general (no mention or promotion required — it is entirely up to you);
- if you are an active affiliate partner (sales are not required, but you should have at least some content dedicated to our products).

How to activate the key
There are two ways. The first — in the interface: the footer of the main screen has the license line, click it and paste the key into the dialog that opens. The second — with the AGENT_LICENSE environment variable when the container starts: convenient when the application is deployed automatically. The application shows the state right in the footer: “Trial, N days remaining”, “License for …” or “License expired”.
For the curious: the license type is written right inside the key as one of the words — Trial, Personal, Company or Service.
