Every license is lifetime: a one-time payment, no subscriptions, no limits on the number of pages, blocks or installations. Licensing works offline, and your key is truly lifetime. The key is activated in the license dialog in the interface, or passed through the AGENT_LICENSE variable at startup — the same variable as Xedant Agent uses. There is no ready license in the image: a fresh container starts without one, the key needs to be activated yourself. Each license includes 12 months of free updates, then (optionally) a 50% discount on the next 12 months of updates from the original purchase price.
An important advantage: the license is genuinely needed only for sending messages in the chat with the AI agent. The portal tree and pages, blocks, dynamic blocks on Python, forms, recommendations, the public site at /p/ and content edits by the agent through the management address all work without it — the paid license adds the AI conversation rather than unlocking withheld features.
Free trial
To evaluate the product calmly before buying, a free trial key is issued for 30 days. It is a separate license type (Trial) — it unlocks every feature, including the chat with the AI agent. The state is visible in the interface: “Free trial, {days} days left”, and when the period ends the application reminds you that it is time to upgrade the license. There is no ready trial key in the image: a fresh container starts without a license, and everything except the agent chat works without one. The trial key is issued on request — write to us on Telegram with your name and email.

Free licenses
In some cases we are happy to gift a free license:
- if you found a bug or a security vulnerability in any of our products (we honestly have no budget for a paid bug bounty, unfortunately);
- if you suggested a sound idea for improving our products (no coding needed — a useful idea is enough; you get a license if we add it to the roadmap);
- if you are an active contributor to open-source projects (we love open-source — we just have no time to maintain our own products as open-source);
- if you run a popular blog, Telegram channel or YouTube channel about programming, AI, portals, marketing, business or IT in general (no mention or promotion required — it is entirely up to you);
- if you are an active affiliate partner (sales are not required, but you should have at least some content dedicated to our products).
If any of the above is about you, just write to us on Telegram. Tell us your name and email, and we will generate your personal lifetime license key.
How to activate a key
There are two ways. The first is in the interface: open the license dialog and paste the key. The second is the AGENT_LICENSE environment variable at container startup: handy when the application deploys automatically. The state is visible right there: “Free trial, {days} days left”, “Licensed to…” or “License has expired”. If the key does not match the product, the application will honestly say “License does not cover PortalAgent”.
For the curious: the license type is written right in the key as one of the words — Trial, Personal, Company or Service.
