# Message Feed

The Message Feed is the combined list of everything collected from all sources: newest on top. This is where competitor and partner content gets reviewed, labeled with tags and turned into ideas — quickly and without extra clicks.

## Filters

- by tags — several tags, “all must match”;
- by sources and authors — several, “any of”;
- by status — untagged / tagged / starred / dismissed;
- by period — today, week, month;
- by read state, by categories and by processing flags;
- plus search over the title, text and author.

Filters apply immediately; the active ones show in the panel and come off with one click.

## Statistics above the feed

Above the feed are the totals: all messages (ever, today, in the last hour), how many are untagged, tagged, starred, without a category, without a route, and how many are unread. Clicking a number turns on the matching filter — for example, clicking “unread” leaves only those in the feed.

## Viewing a message

The text is shown in Telegram’s formatting: spoilers open on click, quotes collapse. Up to four preview pictures, and when there are more — a “+N”. If the message has an external address, an “open the original” chip sits next to it.

## Three layouts

The feed switches between layouts — list, compact, cards — on the fly, without a reload and without losing the filters. The layout choice works from the keyboard too.

## Triage

- **Stars** — mark what matters; the mark is kept;
- **Dismiss** — remove a message from the current view;
- **Tags** — add, remove or create on a single message, and in bulk on a selection;
- **Categories** — assign right from the feed.

## Keyboard triage

The feed is driven from the keyboard: j/k — move through the feed, Enter — open, t — tag, s — star, x — select, X — select all, a — bulk tags, r — dismiss, 1/2/3 — layouts, / — search, ? — the keyboard cheat sheet. Going through hundreds of messages stops being a chore.

## Read state

As you scroll, the feed marks messages read by itself — the marker only moves forward, nothing gets “unread” back. For sources through a personal account the mark syncs with Telegram itself: read in one place — read everywhere.

## Real time

New messages appear at the top without a reload, the counters update, and no duplicates occur. Older history pulls in with the “load older” button — the next 50 messages, for as long as Telegram keeps answering with new ones.
