The website widget is a small chat panel that appears on your pages from one line of code. The visitor asks the bot without leaving the page, and the conversation follows the same scenario as in Telegram.
Embedding
The platform gives you a ready snippet — one line of code to paste into the site — plus hints for popular content management systems:
<script src="https://your-platform-address/widget.js" data-key="wgt-your-embed-key" defer crossorigin="anonymous"></script>
Nothing else needs inserting: the panel loads itself. The widget button shows in the bottom right or left corner; the title, subtitle, greeting, input placeholder and color are all editable. The appearance is configured with a live preview of the real panel — you see how it will look before saving.
Two modes
The panel can open from the side (the default) or be a small bubble. You can also hide the button entirely and open the panel from your own buttons on the site — then the widget appears only where it makes sense.
Domains
You list the sites allowed to show the widget. On someone else’s site the panel simply does not appear — this protects you from someone embedding your chat on their page. The embed key can be rotated: after that the old snippet stops working and the new one needs to be pasted. Useful when the old code fell into the wrong hands.
The pre-chat form and consent
Optionally the widget first asks for a name, and when needed an email and phone. Without ticking the consent-to-data-processing box, no message is sent. The consent record itself — the time, the visitor’s address and the text they saw — is saved and available to you. That is exactly what a privacy policy needs. The platform suggests ready consent wording, and you can adapt it to your own.
Working hours
You can specify working hours. If a visitor writes outside them, the widget honestly shows “offline” and your text, but still accepts the message — the bot or an operator will reply later. This way you do not lose overnight leads and do not create the false impression that someone is online right now.
A gentle invitation
Optionally, after a set time, a single invitation to talk appears next to the button. It is shown no more than once per visit, does not disturb people who have already started a conversation, and is easily dismissed. It is a soft reminder, not a popup ad.
Rating the conversation
When the operator or the scenario itself closes a conversation, the visitor can rate it — thumbs up or down — and optionally leave a short comment. The rating is visible in the conversation and in the widget counters, so you gradually learn how much clients enjoy talking to you.
In the operator desk
A conversation from the widget reaches the operator with a channel tag, the visitor’s card (name, email, phone) and the list of pages they viewed. Replies and handoffs work the same as in the other channels — you can sort things out with full context.
What to enable and where to look
Everything is gathered in the “Website widget” card on the bot’s page: the toggle, the key, the domains, the appearance with live preview, the behavior (the form, consent, working hours, the invitation) and the counters — conversations, messages, the average rating and collected consents. Setting up the widget takes no developer: enable it, enter your domain, pick a color and copy the code snippet.
