Analytics holds the numbers for your channels: cards on the main screen, the weekly timeline, charts and top posts. The data collects itself in the background, so the numbers are always fresh — and you do not need to open Telegram to answer “how is the channel doing?”.
The Channels main screen
A card per channel, sorted by subscribers descending:
- subscribers with the day’s change;
- total post views over the last 24 hours;
- weekly engagement — the share of subscribers who opened the posts; green above 30%, yellow 15–30%, red below 15%;
- comments over 30 days (when there are any);
- the last published post and the next scheduled one — and when nothing is scheduled, a warning about it.
The timeline
A combined week of all channels — Mon–Sun: published posts, scheduled items and empty slots. Each channel also has its own timeline on its page. An empty slot offers a “create an idea” button right in the timeline; scheduled items can be reordered within the slot’s queue with the up/down arrows.
Channel analytics
The channel’s Analytics tab picks a period: today, yesterday, 7, 14, 30 (the default), 90 days or custom dates. At the top is the overview: subscribers, average engagement, the number of posts, total views, the best post and comments. Below are the charts and the table:
- the subscribers chart — over the whole history of snapshots (the period does not affect it);
- the views, engagement and comments charts — for the chosen period, broken down by day, week or month;
- a top-20 posts table for the period: date, excerpt, views, engagement, forwards; sorted by views or by engagement.
Channel overview
The Overview tab: current subscribers with the day’s and week’s change, engagement over 7 days, and four 30-day charts — subscribers, views, engagement, comments. While the page is open, the numbers update themselves.
How the data refreshes
A background cycle runs roughly every 30 minutes and, for every connected channel, refreshes: the subscriber count from Telegram (with a daily snapshot), the view counts of posts published in the last 48 hours, and the daily snapshots for yesterday and today — so today’s data is visible without waiting for midnight. On first launch the snapshots are restored from the channel’s post history. A channel whose data cannot be fetched is skipped — its numbers simply stay as they were.
Statistics snapshots can additionally be mirrored into ClickHouse — a separate database for large volumes and long-term storage: its address is set with the TELEGRAM_AGENT_CLICKHOUSE_URL variable at startup. Then the channel’s Analytics tab gets a “Backfill ClickHouse Stats” button: it finds the snapshots not yet mirrored and uploads them — a lifesaver when the server was down for days and some snapshots missed their upload. The on-screen charts read the same data as before — the mirroring does not affect them.
What is next
Connecting channels is in the Channels section, how the schedule and slots work in Scheduling, and how content moves toward publication in the Content Queue.
