Today Xedant News Agent launches — a news department made of one agent on your own server. It walks your sources, collects the material, merges repeats of the same news and processes them with AI: a summary with links to quotes, an importance score, topics, companies and people, stories and translation.
Then it raises alerts by your rules, sends morning digests and prepares publications that you approve. A separate feature: there is not a single editing form in the interface — you watch and give commands to your AI agent, and it changes the settings.
Key capabilities
Fifteen ways to follow sources: websites, feeds, Telegram channels, search, product cards, podcasts, video and your own Python collector
One careful collector: no more than one request per minute to a site, and a repeated request only if the page changed
Repeats of the same news merge into one card that keeps every source address
Raw pages are saved in full, so you can see where every fact came from
Rules and alerts without programming: what counts as important, who to tell and how, with noise protection
Eight delivery channels: email, Telegram, Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams, a webhook, an API call and your own code
Digests and publications: one morning digest by your topics, and a draft goes out only after your approval
One search field for everything, plus data-set exports and ready feeds for your readers
Any step can be replaced with your own Python code: your own collector, your own AI provider, your own delivery channel. Details and documentation are on the product page: Xedant News Agent.
