Every Xedant Agent license is lifetime: you pay once and use the program with no subscription. Each license includes 12 months of free updates; after that, you can optionally extend updates for another 12 months at 50% off the purchase price. Licensing works offline — the key is checked right on your computer, with no internet or call-home required, which is why your key really is lifetime.
Free trial
You can use the program free for 30 days, then buy a license if it suits you. Even after the free period ends, the app keeps working in full — only talking to AI models stops. Nothing locks you in: all your data (chats and settings) lives in your own database (SQLite or local Postgres — compact databases the app maintains itself), and you can export it and move it anywhere at any time.

Free licenses
There are cases where we are happy to gift a license for free:
- you found a bug or a security vulnerability in any of our products (we honestly have no budget for a paid bug bounty);
- you suggested a practical idea for improving our products — you don’t have to code, a useful idea is enough, and you get a license if we put it on the roadmap;
- you are an active contributor to open-source projects (we love open source — we just don’t have the time to maintain our own products in that form);
- you run a popular blog, Telegram channel or YouTube channel about programming, AI, analytics, marketing, business, finance or IT in general (no advertising required — that is entirely up to you);
- you are an active affiliate partner (sales aren’t required, but you need at least some content about our products).
